TRADING SPECIALIST
EMEA & the Americas | Full-time | Waalwijk, The Netherlands
Connect Commercial Opportunities with Operational Excellence.
In today’s dynamic UV commodity market, speed, reliability, and operational coordination make the difference. As Trading Specialist within IGM Next, you are at the center of daily trading activities — connecting customers, supply availability, logistics, and commercial opportunities to ensure smooth execution across international markets.
This is not a traditional inside sales role. You operate in a trading-driven environment where commercial awareness, forecasting accuracy, and operational discipline come together. You help customers move quickly, support trading decisions with reliable execution, and contribute directly to business continuity and commercial performance..
What is your role?
As Trading Specialist, you are part of the newly established IGM Next organization: the dedicated trading and execution center for the UV monomer business within IGM Resins. IGM Next combines commercial agility with operational coordination and acts as a knowledge-driven trading desk supporting customers across EMEA and the Americas. Reporting to the Trading Manager, you work closely with Procurement, Logistics, Demand Planning, Business Operations, Customer Service, Supply Chain and Regional Account Managers worldwide. You manage your own customer portfolio while ensuring commercial opportunities are translated into efficient operational execution. You maintain daily communication with customers regarding pricing, product availability, lead times and order execution. You prepare and follow up on quotations, support and coordinate trading activities. This role offers an excellent opportunity for both ambitious early-career professionals and experienced commercial coordinators who enjoy working in an international, fast-paced, and commercially driven environment.
Success in this role means customers receive fast and reliable support, commercial execution runs smoothly, and internal teams can rely on accurate operational and forecast information
Who are you?
· Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working and thinking capability in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Commercial Economics, Logistics, International Business, or a related field
· 1–5 years of experience in trading support, inside sales, commercial operations, customer service, or supply chain coordination within an international B2B environment
· Organized, disciplined, and proactive with strong follow-through
· Comfortable working with CRM systems and structured sales processes
· Strong communicator, able to manage multiple stakeholders professionally
· German language skills are a strong advantage; Mandarin is considered a plus
· Customer-oriented with high attention to detail
You recognize yourself in our 5C culture: Commitment, Curiosity, Creativity, Collaboration, and Customer Centricity.
What do we offer?
· A key role within the newly established IGM Next Trading Department
· An international position combining commercial ownership with operational coordination

· Development opportunities in a growing and entrepreneurial company, freedom to shape your role and contribute to improving ways of working
· Competitive salary and attractive benefits
· A dynamic, performance-driven environment with strong ownership
