Responsibilities but not limited to:
- Plan and coordinate logistics operations liaising with customers, internal; stakeholders, suppliers, logistics providers, and transportation companies;
- Manage and coordinate logistics, including arranging transport, storage, delivery, and administration between suppliers and customers;
- Produce logistics schedules and reports and communicate updates and any concerns to relevant parties;
- Monitor quality, quantity, delivery times, and transport costs;
- Track shipments and ensure timely delivery;
- Negotiate prices and payment terms with suppliers to accommodate the company’s needs;
- Assist in the selection of carriers/suppliers and maintain all appropriate documentation and service level agreements;
- Monitor carrier performance and handle performance issues and concerns within capability;
- Ensure carrier compliance with company policies or procedures for product transit or delivery;
- Implement all processes to agreed standards and targets, support continuous improvement initiatives, and identify areas of improvement;
- Maintain performance metrics and reports to provide meaningful logistics information and as a means of measuring and evaluating performance.
- Resolve problems concerning transportation, logistics systems, imports, exports, or customer issues, and escalate to the manager if required;
- Produce logistics schedules and communicate any updates or concerns to relevant parties.
Job Requirements:
- 2 to 3 years of hands-on experience in logistics coordination, preferably in reverse logistics/supply chain/e-waste recycling.
- Bachelor or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) is a plus.
- Proficiency in English. Any other European languages or Chinese is a plus.
- Interested in developing knowledge regarding the rules and regulations of international shipments for e-wastes.
- Strong organizational skills to manage shipments, storage, and documentation.
- Experience negotiating with carriers/suppliers and monitoring service-level agreements.
- Ability to troubleshoot transportation issues and resolve delays & customer complaints.
- Familiarity with logistics software (e.g., ERP) and Excel for reporting.
- Ability to work with cross-functional teams (BD, Logistics, Operations, PM).
Preferred Qualifications:
- Proficiency in any other European languages or Chinese is a plus.
- Referral letter from previous employers/manager.
