What to Expect
You will be part of the Tesla Energy Product Engineering team in the EMEA region (Europe, Middle-east and Africa), focused on pre- and post-installation support of our products for residential and light commercial markets, like Powerwall and Wall Connector.
The primary focus of the Product Engineering role is to monitor and optimize the performance of our fleet, to identify and resolve complex fleet escalations from our technical support teams, and to roll out new firmware updates to the fleet. You will occasionally support the deployment of large commercial fleets and the launch of new products and features. You will work closely with product engineering teams at HQ to address product issues, as well as provide day-to-day product support to customer-facing teams like sales and service in EMEA.
This is a multi-faceted cross-functional role, spanning across data analytics and hands-on problem solving. As well as a strong understanding of the product, the role requires solid engineering skills and practical experience with coding.

What You'll Do-
Perform proactive analysis of product and installation issues across the EMEA fleet using product telemetry to Identify trends to drive continuous improvement of our products and processes

Improve tools and methodologies to visualize and analyze large fleet data sets

Initiate and support root cause analysis of software, firmware, hardware product issues

Provide support on escalated issues, and translate learnings into technical documentation, automated diagnostics or other product or process improvements
What You'll Bring-
Top-tier academic background in engineering, preferably electrical engineering, or demonstrate equivalent experience of exceptional ability

Relevant work experience, including significant first-hand experience of root cause analysis, data analytics and/or service engineering

Ability to produce clear and concise written documents and diagrams

Ability to prioritize and execute many tasks in parallel

Excellent communication and presentation skills in English

Hands-on experience of using Python or equivalent for data analysis

Familiarity with LLMs and AI tools like Claude Code

Previous technical work experience with electric vehicle charging hardware and protocols / standards and/or energy storage systems

Occasional travel may be required for this role. This would include travelling to customer sites as well as to other Tesla facilities.
