What to Expect
The Sales and Service Infrastructure Development team is looking for a highly skilled and motivated Energy Management Operations Specialist to play a key role in our organization's efforts to reduce its environmental footprint and improve its operational efficiency. This role focuses on facility operations, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing the energy performance of our facilities, conducting energy assessments, implementing energy-saving measures, and ensuring compliance with ISO standards and energy management regulations, all with the goal of reducing energy consumption and promoting sustainability across our portfolio.

What You'll Do
Manage documentation related to ISO certification and ensure compliance with ISO standards, with a focus on facility operations
Conduct facility energy assessments, including inventory analysis, to identify areas for energy efficiency improvements
Help implementing energy-saving measures on site, using strong communication and project planning skills to ensure successful project delivery
Monitor energy performance, both in terms of ISO implementation and broader energy management, to identify opportunities for improvement
Prepare for the ISO audit and maintain the Energy Management System (EMS)
Coordinate training on a facility level to ensure that all staff are aware of and understand their roles and responsibilities in relation to energy management and ISO compliance
Develop and implement strategies to optimize energy performance and reduce energy consumption, using data analysis and forecasting to inform decision making
Risk management related to certifications and upcoming energy management legislations
What You'll Bring
Strong communication and project planning skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to conduct facility energy assessments and monitor energy performance, with a focus on identifying areas for improvement
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and priorities
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
Knowledge of energy management systems and energy efficiency technologies, with a focus on facility operations
Domestic and International travel (average of 10 - 20% of the time) is required, possibly on short notice
Fluent in English and one other European language (Norwegian or German are a big plus)
