As a Pre-sales Consultant, you play a key role in connecting our technology with our customers' business challenges. You combine deep product expertise with strong communication skills to demonstrate how our solutions create value for insurers. Working closely with Sales, Product Management and Marketing, you translate customer needs into compelling solution demonstrations and technical advice that support successful sales engagements.

You'll become the technical product expert throughout the sales process, helping prospective customers understand how Keylane's solutions can support their business today and in the future.

Key about your role

As our Pre-sales Consultant, you will:

Partner with Sales throughout the entire sales cycle by providing technical expertise and product guidance.
Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations that clearly communicate the value of our solutions.
Advise prospective customers on how Keylane's products address their functional and technical requirements.
Own and continuously improve the demonstration environment, ensuring it is always ready for impactful customer presentations.
Translate customer challenges into solution proposals that align with their business objectives.
Support the preparation of proposals, RFP responses and other customer-facing technical documentation.
Stay up to date with market developments, customer needs and competitor offerings to strengthen our positioning.
Gather insights from customer interactions and share them with Product Management and other internal stakeholders.
Represent Keylane at customer meetings, events and industry conferences.

Requirements

We're looking for someone who enjoys combining technology, communication and commercial thinking.

You bring:

Experience in a pre-sales, solution consulting, business consulting or similar customer-facing role.
Strong technical affinity and the ability to quickly develop in-depth product knowledge.
Excellent presentation and demonstration skills.
The ability to explain complex technical concepts in a clear and engaging way.
A customer-focused mindset and strong stakeholder management skills.
Experience working with enterprise software solutions, preferably within the insurance or financial services industry.
A proactive, collaborative approach and the ability to work independently.
Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

A Certificate of Conduct (VOG) and reference check are part of the application process.
Each employee within Keylane must follow training on information security and irrespective to the role basic information security responsibilities apply

Benefits

A monthly gross salary between €3.600 and €5.100 based on 40 hours per week;

8% holiday allowance of your total gross salary;

Travel reimbursement: Receive a mileage allowance of €0.23 per km or an NS Business Card, which can also be used for personal travel;
24 holiday days (with the option to buy extra) and 7 inclusion days, which can be exchanged with fixed Dutch national holidays, allowing you to take them when you like;
Flexibility in working environment. As part of a hybrid working team, you will work partly from home and partly from the office. If you work in the office, a free lunch is waiting for you every day. If you work from home, you will receive a working from home allowance (€ 4 net per day) and internet allowance (€ 35 net per month);
