About the role
Reporting to the Head of NRM & SFE North West Europe (France, Belgium, Netherlands), the Commercial Analyst – NRM & SFE will be responsible for delivering actionable insights that support profitable growth across the region. The role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, data analytics, finance, and sales execution.
The analyst will leverage internal and external data sources to evaluate pricing, promotions, assortment, trade investments, and customer performance. Through analytics, forecasting, and dashboard development, the role will help identify opportunities to maximize revenue, margin, and commercial execution effectiveness.
This role serves as a key analytical partner to Sales, Marketing, Finance, Category Management, Supply Chain, and Commercial Excellence teams, transforming complex datasets into clear business recommendations.

Key responsibilities
- Net Revenue Management Analytics
- Deliver regular reporting (price, promo, G2N) for monthly business reviews and performance discussions.
- Evaluate promotional effectiveness and ROI, providing recommendations to optimize commercial investments.
- Identify risks and opportunities versus plans and targets for product mix, portfolio, and price-pack architecture through data-driven analysis.
- Support forecasting and financial planning processes through accurate commercial data and insight generation.
- Customer & Channel Analytics
- Maintain and develop commercial scorecards and dashboards.
- Assess commercial KPIs, customer profitability, and revenue drivers across Mass Market, Pharmacy, and eCommerce channels.
- Support customer planning and commercial decision-making with actionable insights and recommendations.
- Data & External Insights
- Consolidate internal and external market data.
- Monitor competitor pricing and promotional activities.
- Develop predictive and forward-looking insights rather than purely descriptive reporting.
Qualifications and skills
Essential
- Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 1-2 years of experience (including internships/industrial placements) in Data Analytics, Commercial Analytics, Revenue Growth Management, Business Intelligence, Category Analytics, or a related commercial analytics role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to work with large and complex datasets.
- Solid Excel skills (PivotTables, XLOOKUP/INDEX-MATCH, pivot charts; bonus for Power Query).
- Data literate: able to clean, structure and validate datasets; strong attention to detail and data quality mindset.
- Basic data visualisation/reporting capability (Power BI preferred) or strong motivation to learn quickly.
- Communication basics: can explain findings clearly and turn analysis into a simple recommendation.
- Language: Fluency in English required; French and/or Dutch is an asset
- Location: Zaventem (BE) or Amersfoort (NL)
Preferred
- E xperience with Nielsen, Circana, GfK, retailer data or syndicated market data
- Basic data tools skills (Power Query, Alteryx, Databricks, etc.).
- Experience supporting Sales/Category/Customer teams
Strong ability to work across boundaries, lead through others and to connect (with) people.
