Position Overview:
Our Electrical Engineer -is responsible for the design, development, testing, and optimization (sustaining) of (Lithium) batteries and systems.
Essential Functions:

Design and develop new battery technologies, systems, and components.
- Implement and maintain best practices in battery design, validation, and testing to ensure performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.

Optimize and introduce processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and scalability in battery development and maintenance.

Conduct performance and safety testing of battery cells and packs.

Analyse data to evaluate battery efficiency, lifespan, and reliability.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams (R&D, manufacturing, quality assurance).

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues (during development and testing).

Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
-
Prepare technical documentation, reports, and specifications.

Stay updated on advancements in battery materials and technologies.

Be the main contact for product management for all battery related questions

Required Qualifications:
- Experience in electrical development or a related domain.

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.

Knowledge of electrochemistry, material science, and physics.

Experience with battery testing equipment and characterization techniques.

Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple projects.

Working Conditions:
While this role includes typical office work - such as documentation, design reviews, and development on your laptop - it also requires hands-on work in our electronics labs.
Flexible work schedule is required with hybrid onsite requirement.
Occasional travel to customers, suppliers and discipline related conferences and seminars.
This exciting position offers an annual base salary range between 62,500 EUR to 85,800 EUR annually. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors, including skills, experience, and location.
This salary will be pro-rated based on any part-time working agreement.
This position is eligible for participation in discretionary bonus plan, in accordance with company policies.
