About this opportunity:
-
You will unload, sort, scan, label, and place packages in designated areas.
-
You will transfer packages from cages, gaylords or pallets to manual or powered conveyor belts, or vice versa.

You may be asked to assemble flat-folded wire cages by lifting and latching the cage walls

You may be asked to use manual pallet jacks and 2-wheel or 4-wheel carts, and/or push cages (on wheels)

Our packages can range from envelopes to 100lbs (45kg). Most packages are 5 pounds (2.3kg) or less, except on designated heavyweight sorts. Heavy packages are 2-person team lift.

Functional balance is required to complete the essential tasks

Alertness and concentration is required to sort packages correctly

You have good judgement/decision making skills – being able to think quickly on the spot

Being able to effectively communicate with other individuals and management team

Working in a team setting and independently

Maintaining the package/hour sorting ratio established for the day

Cleaning duties as required
