Product & Sales Manager West Europe – Specialty Fertilizers

DeltaChem International B.V. | Born, The Netherlands

DeltaChem International B.V. is expanding its Sales & Marketing team and is looking for a commercially driven Product & Sales Manager West Europe – Specialty Fertilizers.

This is a new full-time position within our organization, created to further strengthen our commercial growth in a market that increasingly demands more efficient, sustainable and value-added fertilizer solutions.

In this role, you will play a key part in further developing and commercializing our DeltaCote controlled-release fertilizer (CRF) portfolio and our DeltaLent inhibitors and boosters program in Europe. You will help strengthen DeltaChem’s position in enhanced specialty fertilizers and contribute directly to profitable sales growth, new customer development and stronger support for key accounts.

You will focus on sales and business development in the Netherlands, Germany, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia and selected Western European markets. Your main product focus will be DeltaCote CRF, the DeltaLent inhibitors and boosters program, additives and related enhanced specialty fertilizer solutions. In addition, you will support key accounts outside Europe and provide product and market support to DeltaChem organizations and Kingenta entities.

What you will do

· Develop and grow sales of DeltaCote CRF, DeltaLent inhibitors, DeltaBoost and related specialty fertilizer solutions.

· Generate orders from existing accounts and actively develop new customers, distributors and market opportunities.

· Build strong relationships with customers, distributors, key accounts and relevant technical partners.

· Position the technical, agronomic and economic value of DeltaChem’s specialty fertilizer solutions in a clear and commercially relevant way.

· Support customer presentations, product introductions, demo trials, field validation and product follow-up.

· Translate customer needs, crop requirements and market developments into commercial opportunities and product feedback.

· Support key accounts outside Europe with product knowledge, market positioning and commercial follow-up where required.

· Support DeltaChem organizations and Kingenta entities with knowledge and positioning of the DeltaCote and DeltaLent product lines.

· Work closely with the International Sales Manager and colleagues in Sales & Marketing, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Production, QA/QC and R&D.

· Maintain a clear sales pipeline, reliable forecast and structured customer follow-up.

Who we are looking for

We are specifically looking for candidates with proven experience in the fertilizer industry and an agronomic, agricultural or horticultural background.

You bring:

· Proven experience in the fertilizer industry.

· Knowledge of agriculture, horticulture, plant nutrition, crop production or practical farming/growing systems.

· Experience in B2B sales, account management or business development.

· The ability to understand and explain technical product value to customers.

· Strong communication and presentation skills.

· A commercial, entrepreneurial and result-driven mindset.

· The ability to work independently and manage your own agenda.

· A structured way of working with customers, opportunities and follow-up.

· A strong team attitude and the ability to work well with internal colleagues and external partners.

· Fluency in Dutch and English.

· German language skills are a strong advantage.

Experience with controlled-release fertilizers, coated fertilizers, specialty fertilizers, inhibitors, boosters, additives, biostimulants or related crop input solutions is highly preferred.
