You take full ownership of the sales process, build strong customer relationships, and lead opportunities from first contact to successful deal closure.

Key Responsibilities
- Own and deliver a €2–2.5 million annual new business quota.
- Build and manage a healthy sales pipeline with clear qualification, prioritization, and progression of opportunities.
- Identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities within supply chain planning and related domains, with clear ownership of commercial outcomes.
- Translate market trends and customer needs into concrete, value-driven commercial opportunities.
- Proactively generate and qualify leads through networking, partnerships, events, and outbound activities.
- Research and profile potential customers to understand their business challenges and needs.
- Own the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing, including client meetings and demonstrations, proposal development, and contract negotiation.
- Represent the company at relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities, while staying up to date on competitor offerings and emerging technologies in supply chain planning.
Who you are
- Bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, supply chain, engineering, or related discipline).
- 7 – 10 years of experience in business development, sales, or commercial roles, preferably within supply chain planning solutions, enterprise software, or consulting services.
- Proven track record of hitting €2M+ annual quotas.
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes such as demand planning, S&OP, inventory optimization, and related domains, and how technology and analytics can improve supply chain performance.
- Proven ability to sell complex consulting services or enterprise-level solutions to senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage confidently at multiple organizational levels.
- Strong collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across consulting, solution, and delivery teams.
- Motivated and resilient commercial professional with a strong focus on targets and a proactive, hands-on approach to market outreach.
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both spoken and written.
- Based within reasonable commuting distance of Zoetermeer or Amsterdam, or willing to travel regularly to these locations (Zoetermeer at least once every two weeks).
- Eligible to work in the Netherlands.
- Comfortable working in a hybrid environment, combining office and remote work.
