We are looking for talented & experienced React Native developers to join our remote development team.

At Checklist we develop productivity apps across Android, iOS, Mac, Windows, and web. We heavily utilize React to provide a common framework for the different platforms.

Your primary focus will be on setting up and developing our innovative React Native apps following well-known React Native workflows. You will ensure that components and the overall application are robust and easy to maintain. You will coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem solving, sophisticated design, and quality product is important.

Primary technologies

React Native, React, Redux, Saga, WebPack, Sentry and Mixpanel

Responsibilities

Developing Checklist app using React Native
Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use across platforms
Translating designs and wireframes into high quality code
Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of mobile devices
Test Driven Development (TDD) using automation tools

Skills

We are looking for developers with the following capabilities:

3+ years of experience developing mobile applications using React Native, Redux, and other popular libraries
Experience with newer specifications of EcmaScript ES6+ & Typescript
Knowledge of data structure libraries (e.g. Immutable.js)
Familiarity with RESTful APIs
Experience integrating with Firebase Authentication SDKs & JWT
Bonus: NodeJS, Electron, Chrome Extension, React
Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
A knack for benchmarking and optimization
Good written and oral English
