The Role – Global Digital Content Manager
We are looking for a Global Digital Content Manager to bring Stokke’s brand to life across digital channels, social media, and influencer partnerships. This role sits at the heart of our global marketing team and is responsible for overseeing all content from strategy to execution, ensuring it resonates with the right consumers at the right moment in their journey.
This is not a traditional content role — success comes from precision-driven, insight-led content that engages consumers with a real need for Stokke products. You will work closely with digital media, creatives, product marketers, and regional teams to ensure Stokke’s storytelling is strategically sharp, commercially relevant, and creatively inspiring. You will also collaborate with creators and influencers to amplify Stokke’s story and build engaged communities globally.
This role will lead content campaigns end-to-end — from strategic and creative briefing to concept development, stakeholder alignment, rollout, and optimisation — ensuring brand consistency, flawless execution across markets, and best-in-class evaluation that raises the bar for future campaigns. This role is based in Amsterdam and reports to the Global & EMEA Brand Director.
Main Responsibilities
- Content Planning Strategy: Leverage market, consumer, and competitive insights to shape seasonal content planning. Align storytelling with commercial priorities, product strategies, and go-to-market plans to maximize brand and business impact. Collaborate closely with global brand and regional teams to ensure product stories align with real consumer needs. Translate insights into frameworks that guide storytelling across channels, ensuring product narratives support commercial success.
- Brand Stewardship: Maintain and evolve Stokke’s global content framework, including visual identity, tone of voice, and storytelling principles. Translate brand strategy into channel-specific, precision-driven content that engages consumers at the right stage of their journey. Ensure content is strategically sharp, commercially relevant, and creatively inspiring, reflecting Stokke’s purpose, design philosophy, and premium positioning.
- Calendar & Campaign Planning: Co-own the strategic development of marketing content calendars, integrating product priorities, stories, and seasonal milestones. Drive clarity and alignment across teams to ensure cohesive sequencing and flawless execution. Partner with creatives, digital media, product marketers, and regional teams to deliver integrated, high-impact campaigns across web, social, email, and other channels.
- Creators, Influencers & Community Engagement: Build and manage relationships with creators, influencers, and brand partners to co-create content that drives awareness, engagement, and advocacy. Develop and execute social activations and influencer campaigns that amplify Stokke’s story and grow engaged communities. Foster authentic consumer engagement through timely, relevant, and on-trend content.
- Measurement & Optimization: Use analytics to track performance, optimize content, and ensure best-in-class evaluation that raises the bar for future campaigns. Apply insights to guide creative, channel, and targeting decisions while safeguarding brand consistency and driving ROI.
Requirements
- 10+ years’ experience in digital content, social media, or integrated marketing, ideally within premium consumer goods, design-led brands, or global organisations.
- Proven track record creating engaging, commercially impactful content campaigns across multiple markets and channels.
- Experience managing creators, influencers, and content partnerships to amplify brand storytelling.
- Strategic thinker able to translate brand and commercial priorities into actionable, channel-specific content.
- Experienced in managing cross-functional teams, agencies, and external partners.
- Strong project management skills — able to balance multiple priorities, deadlines, and stakeholders.
- Socially savvy, with excellent understanding of digital trends, platforms and content optimization.
- Excellent collaboration, communication and stakeholder management skills in English; able to create engagement and influence across all levels.
- Strong business understanding and strategic mindset — able to see the big picture while rolling up sleeves for hands-on execution.
- Comfortable in a fast-paced scale-up or challenger brand environment, bringing clarity and cohesion across teams.
- Data-driven decision maker and storyteller, using insights to inform campaigns, optimize content, and align stakeholders.
