At Fruit Vision you are the link between our blueberry varieties and the growers who bring them to market. Part technical sparring partner, part business developer, always close to the crop. When a new variety has to prove itself in a new region, you are the one on the ground.
Who we are
Fruit Vision (FV) is a collaboration between the Dutch breeding group Agriom, based in De Kwakel, and the Spanish growers’ cooperative Onubafruit. Agriom is a breeder of floriculture and soft fruit crops. Onubafruit is a leading cooperative of growers of soft fruit, persimmon, citrus and avocado.
Fruit Vision is responsible for the commercialisation of blueberry varieties worldwide. Demand for technical support in cultivation, varietal introduction and regional market development keeps growing, and our team grows with it. We are a small, dynamic and international team with the backing of both partners, short lines of communication and plenty of room to take ownership.
What you will do
As International Grower Support & Project Manager you are the sparring partner for growers, both online and on location. You combine commercial insight with practical horticultural knowledge to identify opportunities, support customers and contribute to the successful development of our blueberry varieties. Together with the team you are responsible for customer and cultivation support.
- Developing business opportunities and strengthening relationships with existing growers and partners worldwide
- Supporting the introduction and cultivation of Fruit Vision blueberry varieties in different regions and growing conditions
- Following up on and co-coordinating variety and cultivation trials around the world
- Contributing to the development and management of the blueberry trial location in the Netherlands
- Sharing knowledge and practical experience with growers and business partners
- Identifying opportunities to improve cultivation practices, production and varietal performance
Your work combines time at our office in De Kwakel or from a home office with grower visits and international travel, including intercontinental trips. Contact with growers and partners runs mainly in English, and Spanish is a welcome addition. Do you recognise yourself in job titles such as grower support specialist, crop advisor, technical sales manager or business development manager in horticulture? Then we would like to meet you.
What we ask
- A completed education in horticulture, or a strong demonstrable interest in and knowledge of plant cultivation. A few years of experience in horticulture or crop production is preferred

- Willingness and enthusiasm to travel internationally, including intercontinental travel
- A structured, independent and hands-on approach to your work
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with people from different cultures and backgrounds
- Good command of English in speech and writing. Spanish is an advantage
What we offer
- A versatile international role with a healthy balance between office work, grower visits and travel
- The opportunity to work with growers and partners across different countries and production systems
