Job description

Our products, your drive! The eldoLED firmware team specifies, designs, implements, and maintains a suite of multi-platform LED driver controls relating to a comprehensive tooling chain. These tools interfaces with firmware building blocks that relate to power conversion, voltage & current modulation, communication protocols (DMX/RDM, DALI, Bluetooth, NFC, proprietary), sensors, battery backup systems, color tuning etc. The ever-expanding set of features serves a variety of users increasingly demanding smart solutions and flexibility in their deployments.

- Bring guidance on tailored agile development using Azure DevOps.
- Serve as the technical conscience for the FW team weighing customer ask and timeline against execution excellence, testability, and maintainability.
- Set up, maintain, and improve processes, documentation, and testing strategies with the team.
- Empower people and make sure team spirit is always high, even, or especially when the pressure is on! Monitor and improve predictability.
- Think outside the box and into the future for architecture and feature definition.
- Enjoys working with a global development team located over 5 sites.
- Stay on top of quality using your experience in coding.

Requirements

- Minimum of a master’s degree in computer science or equivalent by experience.
- Minimum of 8 years Agile firmware development experience.
- Experience in both low level hardware control and high level RTOS development on ARM.
- Dev-ops has no secrets, you can tailor to the teams needs and reporting.
- Eager learner (Acuity PDS processes) with a hands-on and challenging attitude.
- Pro-active result-oriented team player with leadership skills empowering teammates, able to act as sounding board.
- Strong communication skills in English, Dutch brings an advantage.

Preferred

- Sr/Ld firmware developer background, with experience in hardware interaction.
- Experience with unit testing frameworks.
- Experience with modern software build environments (eg. versioning systems, regression test suites, automated builds).
- Experience with product -owner and/or -manager roles.
- Experience working with globally located development teams.
- Task switcher, working on several projects and features in parallel whilst nurturing the stakeholder relations.

Salaris: €70.000,00 - €85.000,00 per jaar
