What you will be doing:
Job scope is Duiven HUB (eventual support on station ELST - on demand); on-site job under rotative schedule (3 shifts: day, afternoon & night, currently running from Monday to Saturday); rotation roostering leads the presence on site.
As a Control Room Specialist, you will be responsible of leading & providing the Automation support towards Operations on site, while the sorting shift is taking place, actively acting upon the information, signals and alarms logs coming from the SCADA system, and dispatching the Field Service Engineers on site to accurately troubleshoot and solve any incident that may occur.
Scope will not be limited to purely Automation tasks, but as well you will be essential part for the support on completion of repairs and maintenance of conveyor system/ equipment related,
electrical / electronical & electromechanical systems, as well as pure mechanical parts such as bearings, shafts, rollers, and many others
components on site when support is required if the situation demands it (Team player).
Applicant must ensure the correct performance of the sorting system present in place, in a safely and effective way; this includes an on-site sort shift support.
Accuracy, completeness, and compliance with relevant internal and external standards and procedures are paramount guidelines to comply with. Control room Specialist should be able to identify anomalies as they arise and, where clear procedures exist, provide a direct resolution in consultation Maintenance Specialists and Senior Technicians. As well as running the sort, Control Room Specialist must be capable of asses Technicians (Regular and Seniors) on site on their job and duties, as well as provide advice and assessment on all technicalities of both: execution of the job and administrative tasks to close
the reporting process (MAXIMO).
Administrative works are also part of your routine, such as declaring and reporting maintenance activities (such as breakdowns), usage of parts, LOTO procedure, toolbox meetings, amongst others, in combination with the Sr. and standard Technicians. These administrative activities will most likely refer to MAXIMO reporting, internal communication lines, formularies, Excel control sheets, amongst others.

- Relevant experience (moderate level 3-5 years) in the Technical field (Maintenance / Automation / SCADA)
- Technical background & expertise.
- Experience on a similar role with leadership tasks and responsibilities.
- Technical studies (MBO) relevant to the job opportunity (Electrical, electronical, electromechanical).
