As a Project Manager Computer Vision within the Intelligent Imaging research group, you lead a variety of projects. Some of these projects focus on research and the development of new knowledge and technologies. In addition, you carry out projects in which this knowledge is directly applied for clients from industry, the private sector, and government.
As a project manager, you lead multidisciplinary teams. Together with your team, you develop the project vision and shape its execution. You plan and coordinate the work in consultation with your team members and their line managers. You ensure a positive team atmosphere and contribute to the personal development of your colleagues. You maintain close contact with clients, represent their interests, and, in collaboration with our business developers, work on building strong and lasting client relationships.
The Intelligent Imaging expertise group is a young, passionate, creative, and committed team of professionals (55+ people) specialized in developing groundbreaking computer vision applications. What you also bring:
- A completed academic degree (MSc or PhD) in computer science, physics, mathematics, electrical engineering, or artificial intelligence and affinity with computer vision and deep learning.
- At least ten years of relevant work experience as a project manager.
- Knowledge of the defense, security, and robotics domain, as well as a strong network and experience working with relevant stakeholders (e.g., the Ministry of Defence, police, DJI, or Royal Netherlands Marechaussee) is a plus.
- Fluency in both Dutch and English, spoken and written.

Please apply before the 7th of July, 2026. The selection process comprises two interview rounds. The first interview is planned on July 20th and 22nd. The second interview is yet to be planned.
