We are looking for a Lead Software Developer to drive the seamless integration of data, robotics, and farm management, creating smarter and more sustainable solutions.
You'll be part of a small team of dairy and tech enthusiasts and be welcomed in a dynamic role that spans (and challenges) multiple disciplines. You'll safeguard functional design principles, define technical guidelines for the team, contribute to architectural decisions, and collaborate with other teams supporting our embedded system.
As Lead Software Developer you will:
Design the architecture for FULLSENSE, making key decisions on scalability, cloud transitions, and hardware integrations.
Mentor junior developers, sharing your expertise and fostering a learning culture.
Anticipate chances and remove roadblocks for the team, acting as a technical guide
Develop & improve our desktop, server, and cloud-based solutions using .NET Core, Blazor, and Azure.
Collaborate closely with the team to ensure our software remains practical, relevant, and impactful.

Your Profile
You are a senior developer ready to grow into a lead role, or you already have leadership experience. You have:
Strong experience with .NET, API development, and cloud-based solutions (Azure).
Preferably experience with Docker containers in a Linux environment.
Preferably at least familiarity with MAUI Blazor (or Xamarin Forms) for desktop applications and Android/iOS development.
A keen eye for quality—you strive for the highest possible standards in every pull request while remaining pragmatic.
A natural curiosity for the latest .NET developments. We are working with .NET 9 and migrate to the latest version as soon as possible.
A boy scout mentality—you always leave the codebase cleaner than you find it.
A pragmatic, no-nonsense approach to delivering solutions that truly help farmers.
The ability to unite a team, involve everyone in decisions, and drive solutions forward.
