About The Role
Are you someone who likes to maintain an overview, switches gears quickly, and gets energy from managing a team? Do you have a strong focus on quality and know how to make the right choices under pressure? Then this role could be a good fit for you.
In the role of Logistics Team Leader, you ensure that all logistics processes run smoothly, efficiently, and on schedule. You lead a team of approximately 15 employees on a daily basis and are responsible for both operational management and process optimization.
Flexibility in working hours is desired to optimally support the operation.
About Your Tasks
- Drafting and managing the staff schedule
- Continuously improving and streamlining logistics processes
- Coordinating storage and order picking
- Ensuring correct and timely shipment of goods
- Coordinating incoming goods flows
- Maintaining contact with internal departments
- Being actively present on the work floor and managing the team
- Processing and verifying data in the systems
- Supervise safety, order, and cleanliness in accordance with applicable guidelines
- Monitoring lead times and delivery reliability
About You
- Possesses a higher professional education (HBO) working and thinking level
- Has experience in logistics
- Has knowledge of warehouse management
- Has at least 3 years of managerial experience in a similar role
- Is able to coach, motivate, and support employees
- Language Skills: Ideally, you are able to communicate in Dutch, German and English.
