What we ask
- Bachelor's or master's in data and analytics or relevant field.
- 10+ years of professional experience in data and analytics.
- You are fluent in SQL and python via extensive hands-on experience as a developer for BI (modelling and engineering) and cloud engineering.
- You inspire confidence and naturally technically guide teams because your expertise and insights are widely recognized and trusted.
- Experience with SAP processes & data, Power BI (PBI), Databricks, large language models (LLM), Neo4J , ontologies, machine learning, and Microsoft Azure are strong advantages.
- Able to translate complex business questions into compelling visualizations and data narratives that drive understanding and engagement.
- Familiarity with sustainability topics, audit-related data processes, and a broad spectrum of fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) business processes is beneficial.
- Able to effectively bridge the gap between sustainability stakeholders and IT, facilitating clear communication and alignment between both domains.
- Based in the Netherlands and within reasonable commuting distance of Amersfoort (minimum two days per week on-site), with strong English communication skills.

- Salary between €6,500 and €8,900 per month, depending on knowledge and experience (full-time);
- Full-time workweek of 40 hours, 15% bonus, and a pension;

As Technical Lead Sustainability Data & Analytics, you will:
- Set the technical bar for sustainability data solutions, ensuring quality, scalability, and architectural consistency across teams.
- Proactively resolve complex technical challenges, stepping in hands‑on where it adds most value to support teams, unblock progress, and drive sound technical decisions.
- Acting as the tactical bridge between the Digital Sustainability team and Global IT (Data Engineering).
- Be the trusted technical sparring partner for Digital Specialists across the team.
- Shape the future of our sustainability data landscape by driving innovation and challenging the status quo.
- Own end to end technical accountability for sustainability data solutions, ensuring robustness, maintainability, and long-term scalability.
- Provide clear technical direction and make solution level tradeoffs, setting standards and guardrails across sustainability data products.
- Develop technical capability across the team by coaching, mentoring, and elevating engineering and analytics practices.
- Align technical decisions with delivery priorities, balancing speed, quality, and long-term sustainability solutions.
- Safeguard non‑functional requirements such as data quality, auditability, security, and reliability across all solutions.
