What we ask
We are looking for a highly skilled professional who combines deep technical knowledge with a collaborative, forward-thinking mindset. You will shape secure and resilient operational networks, safeguard continuity, and influence teams across IT and OT domains. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential.
You bring:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in Network Engineering, including 3–5 years specializing in OT/ICS or SCADA network architecture
- Technical Expertise, including:
- Experience with industrial network hardware (Cisco, Siemens, Hirschmann Industrial Ethernet)
- Expertise in segmentation and security zones (firewalls, VLANs)
- Strong understanding of air-gapped or segmented architectures prioritizing latency and availability
- Familiarity with configuration and management tools for industrial networks
- Safety & Reliability Focus ensuring OT networks maintain operational integrity and personnel safety
- Exceptional collaboration skills to bridge IT, OT, business, engineering, and operations
- Relevant certifications are a strong plus (e.g., GICSP, CCNA/CCNP Industrial, ISA/IEC 62443 Cyber Security Expert)

- Salary between €5,261 and €7,516 per month, depending on knowledge and experience (full-time);
- Full-time workweek of 38 hours, 5% year-end bonus, 12,5% bonus, and a pension;

Vacancy description
As an OT Network Architect, you will design and secure robust network solutions supporting our factories and production environments.
Your responsibilities include:
Design & Architecture
- Develop highly available, resilient OT network infrastructures
- Design Layer 2/3 segmentation, industrial wireless solutions, and fiber optic systems
Security & Compliance
- Implement segmentation models aligned with ISA/IEC 62443 and the Purdue Model
- Deploy firewalls, IDS, and ensure audit readiness and compliance
Integration & Protocols
- Manage secure IT/OT integration points
- Apply expertise in protocols such as Profinet and OPC UA
Standards & Lifecycle
- Develop and maintain network standards, documentation, and modernization strategies for legacy environments
Monitoring & Performance
- Deploy OT-specific monitoring tools to ensure network health, visibility, and real-time control performance
Collaboration & Strategy
- Partner with engineering, operations, and IT teams to align network strategy with business needs
