Location
Core Purpose
- Perform day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment components to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Assist the workshop team with the day-to-day maintenance, troubleshooting, assembly, and repair of pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical equipment and components.
- Conduct testing of all equipment to ensure functionality and operational readiness.
- Ensure all assembly, testing, and repair activities are carried out in accordance with applicable procedures, industry standards, and company quality requirements, including IMCA, WOD-SOE, IRATA, and OEG Subsea standards.
- Comply with all relevant health and safety policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Report on changes to relevant standards, whether internally or externally driven, and monitor performance against established standards.
- Ensure that all changes to equipment or systems are appropriately authorised and supported by accurate drawings and technical documentation, in accordance with engineering procedures.
- Liaise and collaborate with subcontractors on the maintenance, repair, and operation of equipment and systems.
- Manage the mobilisation and demobilisation of equipment and unites, both locally and internationally.
- Provide support for other operational activities as required.
- Always ensure compliance with SCC (VCA) and ISO standards.
QHSE Responsibilities
To have a general understanding of the areas of our QHSE Management System and OEG’s QHSE aims and objectives that are relevant to the role.
Comply with the requirements of OEG Energy Group Policies and the responsibilities within the wider QHSE Management System.

Skills and Experience
- Minimum of 1-3 years of relevant experience in a similar position.
- Technical qualification at diploma or equivalent level in pneumatic, hydraulic, or electrical engineering.
- Strong interest in working within the offshore industry.
- Good knowledge of high-voltage electrical safe working practices.
- Experience in troubleshooting electrical equipment and associated software systems.
- Experience in troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Ability to read electrical, mechanical and hydraulic schematics and technical drawings.
- Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- Good knowledge of relevant standards and legislation, with a strong focus on compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid SCC (VCA) certification.
