About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Workshop Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support the ongoing maintenance, repair, and overhaul of mechanical equipment within our workshop. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician who takes pride in quality workmanship and safe work practices.
Key Responsibilities

Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on mechanical equipment

Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on pumps, motors, gearboxes, and rotating equipment

Strip, inspect, repair, and reassemble mechanical components

Conduct alignment, fitting, and assembly work to specification

Maintain workshop tools, equipment, and housekeeping standards

Follow maintenance schedules, procedures, and safety requirements

Complete job cards, service reports, and maintenance records

Work closely with supervisors and other trades to meet production targets
Skills & Experience
-
Proven experience in mechanical maintenance or workshop-based roles

Strong mechanical aptitude and fault-finding skills

Ability to read and interpret drawings, manuals, and specifications

Experience using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment

High attention to detail and commitment to quality

Strong safety awareness and teamwork skills

Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
Qualifications (Required / Desirable)

Trade qualification in Mechanical Fitting, Maintenance, or equivalent
-
Experience with pumps, hydraulics, pneumatics, and rotating equipment (desirable)

Forklift, overhead crane, or dogging tickets (desirable)

Valid driver’s license
Needed

EU citizen or valid work permit for the Netherlands.
