As Project Leader Instruments, you are the driving force behind the successful execution of our hardware instrument projects. You keep the full overview, from the initial specifications through to the delivery of high quality technical solutions. You lead a multidisciplinary team of engineers, work closely with customers and internal specialists, and know how to get everyone moving to meet deadlines.
You are the main point of contact and the central figure within the project team. You monitor progress, quality and alignment, and ensure that technical questions reach the right people at the right time. Sometimes, you visit the customer to discuss technical details and project progress, so that the project stays on track. This role suits someone who understands technology, maintains overview and gains energy from guiding complex projects in a high tech environment.
A selection of your responsibilities

Drawing up a project description, including objectives, organization, working methods, planning and budgets;

Leading technical projects from start to finish; you guide the entire process, from defining requirements through implementation, debugging and final delivery of the product;

Identifying and analysing the project in terms of budget, risks, organization, quality, information and planning, and periodically reporting progress and findings to the manager;

Monitoring quality, progress and budget, and identifying bottlenecks in time;

Coordinating the work of the engineers;

Communicating with customers and suppliers;

Building and maintaining a close-knit and effective team, with a strong focus on collaboration, communication and engagement.

An attractive salary, depending on your education and experience, between €4,422.26 and €6,317.96 gross per month (job scale: Project Leader A) based on a 40-hour workweek;

What do we ask of you

A completed Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Embedded Systems or Electrical Engineering;

Several years of experience as a (technical) Project Leader or in a comparable role;

Strong organizational and communication skills;

You maintain an overview, make adjustments where needed and are not afraid to address people on deadlines;

Affinity with technology; technical content knowledge is a plus;

You are able to switch well between different projects and disciplines;

You have an eye for the person behind the professional; you recognize when someone is struggling and adjust where needed;

You have a good command of both English and Dutch;

You live in the Netherlands and within a maximum travel time of one hour from our office in Zwolle;

If you are not a Dutch or EU citizen, you already have a valid Dutch work visa.
