As a Software Engineer, you develop C++ software, software calibration protocols and user interfaces for high tech electrical measuring instruments. These systems are used to test the most advanced chips behind the innovations of the future. This role is specifically focused on software development on the PC side.
Technical challenges do not put you off. On the contrary, you enjoy solving them and working closely together with your software, hardware and firmware colleagues to create smart and reliable solutions. Do you have a completed Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering and already have several years of work experience? Are you familiar with C++ software development and do you feel at home in PC side software development? Then it is good to know that this position is not focused on embedded software development. What you will be doing in your role

Designing, implementing and verifying drivers (PC-based) for high-tech instruments in test solutions for ATE (Automatic Test Equipment);

Designing, implementing and verifying calibration protocols to ensure the accuracy of the instruments;

Writing automated tests for hardware validation and developing user interfaces;

Keeping information up to date;

You are responsible for your own planning and report to your project leader / scrum master.

An attractive salary, depending on your education and experience, between €3,866.22 and €5,523.18 gross per month (job scale: Engineer Expert B) based on a 40-hour workweek;

What do we ask of you

A completed Bachelor’s degree in ICT, Software Engineering, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering;

At least 5 years of experience in programming C++ applications;

Affinity with hardware electronics and the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics;

Experience in working with oscilloscopes and other measuring equipment for testing and validating software functionality is a plus;

You have a good command of both Dutch and English;

You live in the Netherlands and within a maximum travel time of one hour from our office in Zwolle;

If you are not a Dutch or EU citizen, you already have a valid Dutch work visa.
