Objective of the Role
As Production Coordinator, you will play a key role in ensuring efficient production operations while driving continuous improvement initiatives. This is a hands-on role that combines operational coordination with process optimization, automation, and digitalization projects.
You will work closely with Operations, Supply Chain, and Production teams to improve efficiency, enhance data accuracy, and support the delivery of high-quality medical devices.
Key Responsibilities
Production Planning & Coordination
- Manage weekly production planning based on demand forecasts and production requirements
- Create and maintain production orders, routers, and logistics documentation
- Coordinate material availability and production readiness
- Monitor production flow and support on-time delivery performance
- Manage shipping and receiving activities related to production orders
- Ensure production data and documentation remain accurate and up to date
Process Improvement & Automation
- Analyze production and operational processes to identify bottlenecks and improvement opportunities
- Map and evaluate processes using structured methodologies such as flowcharts, SIPOC, and Value Stream Mapping
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and reduce waste
- Develop and implement automation solutions within Excel, ERP systems, and operational workflows
- Support digitalization projects across the Operations department
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement within the team
Data & Performance Management
- Monitor and report operational KPIs, including output, delivery performance, lead times, and quality metrics
- Ensure high levels of data integrity within ERP systems
- Support decision-making through data analysis and reporting
- Identify trends and recommend improvement actions based on operational performance
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations Management, or a related field
- 1-5 years of experience in manufacturing, production, supply chain, or operations
- Strong Excel skills, including advanced formulas and pivot tables
- Experience with ERP systems; experience with Exact Globe or e-Synergy is an advantage
- Knowledge of process improvement methodologies and process mapping techniques
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and root cause analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Structured, detail-oriented, and highly organized
- Proactive, hands-on, and driven to improve processes
- Ability to balance operational responsibilities with project-based work
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
