As a Transport & Logistics Coordinator, you are responsible to design and implement our warehouse and distribution landscape within our markets. You turn market channel needs into smart, efficient and customer focused logistics solutions. You collaborate with our service providers on warehouse solutions, transport and emballage activities to achieve the optimal service, availability and efficiencies in our network.
What you'll be responsible for:
- Implement distribution network solutions (warehousing & transport) in EU & UK local markets
- Translates market channel service needs into efficient and customer-oriented logistic solutions
- Build relations, coordinate SLA’s and periodic performance reviews with service providers
- Drives inventory management principles to establish and ensure full track & trace and bringing workflow control principles in place
- Act as a business process owner for emballage (pallets, crates, others)
- Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders like Supply Chain, Production facilities, Order Fulfillment, Procurement and Finance to ensure optimal solutions and way of workings.
What you'll do:
- Implement new route to markets
- Monitor, orchestrate and partly execute workflow principles with central warehouse, CMs, transport and distributors
- Provide internal performance dashboards and establish performance reviews with external service providers
- Ensure warehouse and distribution network delivers on required service against lowest possible costs
- Monitor, orchestrate and where needed execute, emballage, transport and warehouse flows and costs
- Continuous improvement, actively search for opportunities to create efficiencies and performance improvements throughout our logistics network
What you'll bring:
- HBO or WO work and thinking level
- 3+ years of experience in planning, logistics, customer service or supply chain
- Understanding of end-to-end supply chain networks and warehousing and transport
- Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing
- Ability to build internal and external relations, ability to deal with conflicting interests
- Ownership, disciplined and challenges status quo
- Continuous improvement mindset
