Category & Buying Excellence builds the commercial capabilities that enable Kramp to continuously improve how we work with suppliers, categories and processes. By connecting market opportunities, supplier partnerships and internal capabilities, we create a stronger value proposition for our customers.
As Project Manager Buying, you will play an important role in improving the way Buying operates across Kramp. You will lead projects that strengthen procurement processes, introduce new ways of working and support the continuous development of our global Buying organization.
This is an opportunity to make a visible impact by combining project management, business improvement and Buying expertise in an international environment.
Your role
As Project Manager Buying, you will manage and support improvement projects within Category & Buying Excellence. You will work closely with Category Buyers, Category Managers and stakeholders across Kramp to translate business needs into practical solutions.
You will bring structure to complex initiatives, connect different stakeholders and ensure that improvements are successfully implemented and embedded in the organization.
Your specific tasks include:
-
Lead and coordinate Buying improvement projects – define scope, create project plans, coordinate workstreams and ensure successful implementation from idea to delivery.
-
Identify and translate business improvement opportunities – analyze current ways of working, gather requirements and develop practical solutions that improve procurement processes, supplier collaboration, governance and Buying capabilities.
-
Drive change and continuous improvement – support teams in adopting new processes, tools and ways of working, while capturing best practices, lessons learned and opportunities for further improvement.
-
Connect stakeholders and ensure alignment – collaborate with Category Management, Buying, Supply Chain and other departments, facilitate communication and support effective decision-making across project teams.
-
Monitor and report project progress – manage risks, issues and dependencies, support project governance, and provide clear updates on milestones, outcomes and next steps.
Your team
You will become part of the Category & Buying Excellence team, a global function responsible for strengthening Kramp’s commercial capabilities and improving the way Category Management and Buying operate.
The team consists of five Project Managers, each with their own area of expertise, including Category Management, Buying, integrations and process management. Together, they support strategic initiatives that improve processes, collaboration and business performance across Kramp.
You will work as part of a global team, collaborating with colleagues across different countries and functions, and report to Head of Category Buying Excellence.
"What makes this team exciting is that we are continuously building and improving the way we work. You have the opportunity to create solutions that directly influence how we collaborate with suppliers and support Kramp’s commercial ambitions."
