Your role as a Freelance Trainer
As a Freelance Trainer / Microsoft 365 & Digital Skills Practice Expert, you will support different target groups in working smarter, more efficiently and with greater confidence using digital tools.
You make complex topics easy to understand and through interactive training ensure that participants can immediately apply what they have learned.
You do not need to develop training programmes from scratch. DOW Academy provides complete trainer guides and course materials, allowing you to focus on what matters most: supporting participants, sharing your practical experience and creating a positive learning experience.
Your responsibilities
- Deliver interactive training sessions in Microsoft 365, AI and digital skills
- Support participants during exercises and practical assignments
- Explain topics clearly and understandably, adapted to different levels and target groups
- Translate digital possibilities into practical applications for work, education and everyday life
- Work with the available training materials and guidelines provided by DOW Academy
- Create a safe and motivating learning environment where participants feel comfortable asking questions and developing their skills
- Provide feedback and identify opportunities for improvement
- Contribute ideas for new training opportunities and practical applications within digital development

Who are we looking for?
We are looking for enthusiastic trainers and practice experts who enjoy sharing their knowledge.
You do not need to be an experienced teacher. We value practical experience just as highly as teaching experience.
If you use Microsoft 365 daily in your work and regularly help colleagues, customers or employees, you may already have valuable knowledge that you can share.
We are looking for people who:
- Have experience with Microsoft 365 and digital applications
- Can explain clearly and connect easily with different target groups
- Are patient, enthusiastic and practical by nature
- Can work independently and take responsibility
A Dutch background is an advantage, but not a requirement.
You speak professional English.
We are looking for trainers who can commit at least 10 hours per week to DOW Academy, preferably on fixed days and times.
Which training programmes will you deliver?
Depending on your experience, you will deliver one or more training programmes within the following areas:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Microsoft PowerPoint
- Calendar Management (Microsoft Outlook, Google Calendar, Microsoft Teams & Google Meet)
- AI & Productivity (Microsoft Copilot, ChatGPT and other AI applications)
You will deliver training at:
- Beginner level
- Advanced level
- Tailor-made level for businesses and organisations
Our training formats include:
- Private training
- Duo training
- Small groups
- Workshops
- Guest lessons
- Tailor-made business training
You do not need to master every topic or level. Together, we will determine which training programmes best match your knowledge, experience and interests.

For international trainers, different compensation arrangements may apply depending on country, local regulations or mutual agreements.
How does the collaboration process work?
1. Application
Tell us who you are, your experience and which training programmes you would like to deliver.
2. Introduction meeting
We schedule an online video meeting to get to know each other better.
3. Follow-up meeting
We introduce you to the DOW Academy approach. You will learn more about our training materials, trainer guides, partnership agreement and revenue model.
4. Welcome to DOW Academy
After a successful introduction and mutual agreement, we are happy to welcome you as a trainer.
For your personal trainer profile, we request a professional profile photo. Based on our conversations, we create your profile including your expertise, practical experience and training areas. After your approval, your profile will be published on the DOW Academy website.
Together, we decide the best way to start:
- You start delivering training immediately
- Or you first observe a colleague’s training session and then start independently
