OUR COMPANY
Amforça is a dynamic company specializing in sports camps and after-school (BSO) activities for children from international schools (ages 4–13). We pride ourselves on our professionalism, inclusivity, reliability, and high-quality services in sports, health, and prevention.
During school weeks, our activities take place from 14:30 to 17:15 and on Wednesdays from 12:15 to 15:00. You will work at our locations at Laan van Poot 22 in The Hague. Working at other Amforça locations in The Hague may also be required.

WHAT IS THE ROLE?
As a Dance Coach (Danscoach), you are responsible for delivering fun, creative, and engaging dance lessons for children. Under the supervision of the General Manager and Location Manager, you ensure the smooth progress of your activities within Amforça.
You will independently prepare and teach dance lessons, adapt activities to different ages and abilities, and create an enthusiastic and welcoming environment where children feel confident to express themselves.
You will work together with coordinators, head coaches, and other coaches to ensure high-quality activities and a positive experience for children and parents.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Safely pick up children from school, check attendance, and escort them to the activity location.
- Prepare, organize, and deliver creative and engaging dance lessons suitable for children aged 4–13.
- Set up and clean up activities, maintain equipment, and ensure a safe and positive environment.
- Inspire and motivate children to participate, develop their confidence, and enjoy dance and movement.
- Create a positive atmosphere that encourages teamwork, creativity, and personal development.
- Plan dance lessons in advance and independently lead lessons when required.
- Adapt lessons to different skill levels and respond to children’s individual needs.
- Support the organization of special events, performances, and activities within your area of expertise.
- Monitor children’s progress, celebrate achievements, and communicate relevant updates to parents and coordinators.
- Report any concerns regarding children’s wellbeing or safety to the coordinator, head coach, or assistant manager.
- Support junior coaches or assistant coaches within your team.
- Be responsible for the branch/location telephone and tablet when required.
- Perform other related duties as needed.

YOUR PROFILE
- You are passionate about dance and enjoy working with children.
- You are open-minded, communicative, proactive, reliable, and an inclusive team player.
- You can provide a valid VOG certificate (costs covered by Amforça).
- You have good communication skills in English (Dutch or other language skills are a plus).
- You are available to work approximately 8 hours per week during school weeks.
- You are in the final year of, or have completed, a relevant education in dance, sports coaching, physical education, Sport en Bewegen MBO 3–4, or a related field.
- A dance qualification or certification is preferred.
- You have at least 6 months of experience working with children or teaching dance/sports activities.
- You have strong practical dance skills and the ability to teach and motivate children.
- You live in the area of The Hague and are permitted to work in the Netherlands.
