As a Strategy Consultant you’ll be answering our client’s most pressing questions. You’ll work in small data-driven teams in a very international context, with a performance and learning program that will accelerate your growth.

We are Rotate. We help key players across the global air cargo and logistics industry make better commercial and strategic decisions. We provide cloud-based software and analytics, world-leading market data, and data-driven strategy consulting. Our clients include top-tier airlines, airports, freight forwarders, governments, shippers, investors, and other industry stakeholders.
Founded in 2022 by a core team of former aviation strategy consultants, Rotate has grown rapidly. We now have offices in the Netherlands and Malaysia and a diverse team of around 60 professionals, including strategy consultants, data scientists, software developers, and data engineers. Demand for our work continues to grow strongly, and we are therefore looking for talented Strategy Consultants to strengthen our team.
What you’ll do
When joining Rotate as a strategy consultant, you will:

Join a young and entrepreneurial company and be part of a unique, experienced, and well-connected team

Help define the strategic and commercial direction of airlines, airports, and other industry players

Play a key role in gathering and analyzing data, interviewing clients, and contributing to the team’s recommendations

Work directly with clients (around the world) and have a voice in determining the team’s working approach. Your ideas will be encouraged from day one

Get the opportunity to shape the consulting team, become an expert in a key international industry, and build a strong industry network
Engagements may range from advising airlines on their optimal future fleet & network, figuring out commercial synergies of a partnership between airlines to helping the Head of Cargo Pricing design a holistic approach to long-term and spot pricing.

Confidentially communicate your findings with your colleagues and in client meetings

Your qualifications

You have a master’s degree, preferably in a quantitative field, with up to 2 years of working experience

You have strong communication skills in English, both verbal and written. Other languages are a great plus

You have proven to perform well under pressure, either in academic or other fields

You have an ability to distinguish and prioritize key issues from noise (the 80/20 principle)

You are comfortable working in PowerPoint and Excel. A basic understanding of Python and SQL is a plus

You enjoy working in cross-cultural and multi-disciplinary teams, with people at all levels

You are excited to work in the global airline and air cargo industry

You are willing to travel globally for assignments

We are based in Utrecht, within 2 minute walking distance from Central Station. We find value in being together to collaborate, but we offer flexibility to accommodate different ways of working.
