You enjoy organizing and coordinating, thrive on complex processes, and are committed to providing excellent service.
As a junior officer at the Joint Virtual Administrative Office (JVAO), you’ll ensure that administrative processes related to education run smoothly. This involves a wide range of tasks: from student admissions and scheduling classrooms to organizing exchanges and, ultimately, issuing diplomas. You’ll work closely with the senior officer.
As an administrative officer, you’ll support students and teaching staff with a variety of administrative processes related to an international master’s programme. Specifically, the Master Global Challenges for Sustainability , which is jointly offered by several European universities. This program is part of the European University Alliance CHARM EU, in which various universities collaborate closely. For more information, visit www.charm-eu.eu.
You will work in an international team of administrative officers who are jointly responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the administrative processes of the Master programme. Organizationally, you will be part of the Education Department within the Directorate of Students, Education, and Research (SO&O). In your work, you’ll be constantly collaborating with the international team and your local colleagues in Utrecht.
You enjoy working in a team but can also work independently. You are proactive and service-oriented, and have a positive, enthusiastic attitude.
You enjoy helping students, teachers and (international) colleagues with their queries and practical matters. In this role, it is important that you are able to strike a good balance between working in a structured manner and dealing flexibly with changing circumstances and unexpected situations.
