Technical Illustrator ( Technisch Illustrator & Tekenaar )
As illustrator you are responsible for creating functional Illustrations, Animations and or drawings for the Customer Services organization of the Business Innovation Unit Image Guided Therapy. The created content enable our service engineers to perform service tasks efficient and effective. You’ll contribute to the new way of working of creating service information and documentation. This new way of working is presenting technical information in new formats that are futureproof. Part of your job will also be participation in new innovations for service information publication.
Your responsibilities
Discuss / align the request and requirements with Service Innovation colleagues in project meeting
Guard progression, take care of timely communication and secure deadlines
Create and maintain electrical- and functional schemes and drawings for the Service documentation of systems and products
Create technical illustrations and Animations for the service documentation. This content can be self-designed or redesigned from current drawings
Design, draw and maintain system specific installation drawings of X-Ray systems, for hospital installation
Calculate and draw of the Cable Duct Data and Cable Conduit Data for hospital room-preparation
Your team
The drawing office team creates and delivers high quality service drawings for every phase in the lifecycle of a medical system. Our team works for different customers within Philips Healthcare.
We have an enthusiastic team with different tooling and skill knowledge. We work in close cooperation with Service Innovation. For a very long time we have been a well-known and valued player and are continuously looking for new opportunities to serve our customers within Healthcare.
We are looking for
MBO diploma, Electro, Mechanical or Mechatronic
Electronics knowledge, genuine interest to understand technical content
CAD-experience, E-Plan, Inkscape and Abobe Illustrator are preferred.
Experience in reading and understanding of electrical drawings
Good communication skills (Dutch + English), open to new tooling, techniques and processes
Customer oriented, team player yet able to work independently, ownership & responsibility
Willingness to travel (international (10%)
