To strengthen our Procurement Team, we are looking for an experienced and analytical Sourcing Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing and supplier management initiatives.
Your Role
As Sourcing Manager, you will be responsible for identifying, selecting, and developing the best suppliers while creating sustainable commercial value for Marflex.
You will analyze spend, develop category strategies, lead RFQ/RFP processes, negotiate contracts, and collaborate closely with Engineering, Operations, Finance, Quality, and senior management.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Procurement & Category Management
- Analyze and segment spend categories;
- Develop and implement category strategies;
- Conduct supply market analysis and supplier segmentation;
- Define and manage Supplier Relationship Management (SRM);
- Identify opportunities for outsourcing, standardization, and optimization.
Source-to-Contract (S2C)
- Lead RFQ, RFP, and tender processes;
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, SLAs, and logistics terms;
- Select, qualify, and onboard new suppliers;
- Draft and manage framework agreements and contracts;
- Perform cost modeling and Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) analyses.
Engineering & New Product Development
- Involve suppliers early in development processes;
- Support New Product Development and engineering change projects;
- Drive design-to-cost and manufacturability improvements;
- Coordinate supplier approvals, prototypes, and tooling changes.
Supply Chain, Risk & Performance
- Develop strategies for inbound logistics, inventory management, and delivery reliability;
- Reduce supply chain risks through dual sourcing and business continuity planning;
- Monitor and improve supplier performance;
- Conduct supplier audits and compliance checks;
- Drive cost reduction, quality improvement, and supply reliability.
Scope of Responsibility
You will be responsible for sourcing activities across various technical and industrial commodity groups, including:
- Metals & fabricated parts;
- Industrial components;
- Hydraulic and pneumatic systems;
- Electrical and mechanical components;
- Packaging and tooling;
- Technical manufacturing services.
The total spend under your responsibility is approximately €10 – €12.5 million.
Who Are You?
You are commercially driven, analytically strong, and capable of translating complex sourcing challenges into practical solutions. You communicate effectively across all organizational levels and build strong relationships with both suppliers and internal stakeholders.
You Bring
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (HBO/WO equivalent);
- Education in Supply Chain, Procurement, Engineering, Business, Finance, or similar;
- 3–7 years of experience in strategic sourcing, category management, or procurement;
- Experience leading RFQs, tenders, and contract negotiations;
- Knowledge of ERP systems such as SAP and e-sourcing tools;
- Strong communication and negotiation skills;
- Professional proficiency in English.
Nice to Have
- Experience in manufacturing or technical environments;
- International supplier management experience;
- Knowledge of TCO analysis and supplier audits;
- NEVI, CIPS, or Lean Six Sigma certifications.
