What will you do?
As a Technical Trainer at Alfen, you will play a key role in developing and executing training programs for both internal and external stakeholders. You will ensure our service teams are optimally prepared for their tasks while contributing to the professionalization of our training structure. Your work supports the further development of our energy storage systems, smart grids, and EV charging infrastructure.
Your responsibilities include:
- Developing and implementing Alfen’s Service Training Program and strategy.

Analyzing skill gaps and designing training programs to bridge them.

Creating training modules in various formats: online, on-site, and hands-on product training.

Collaborating with the Quality and Health & Safety teams to ensure compliance with safety standards.

Setting up structures, processes, and systems to support training and knowledge sharing.

Implementing a certification process for internal and external professionals.

Monitoring market trends and best practices to keep Alfen at the forefront of training methodologies.

Identifying commercial opportunities and developing a strategy to offer training as a service.

Working with the Sales team to commercially position training and develop customer-focused programs.
What do we ask of you?
For a strong match, we are looking for a technically skilled professional with a strategic mindset and strong communication skills. Additionally:
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Power Electronics, or a related field.

At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a technical environment.

Experience in developing and delivering training at different skill levels.

The ability to develop a vision and identify opportunities for commercializing training.

Excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
