The Role;
As a Flow Controller, you will play a key role in maintaining the performance of advanced automated warehouse systems. You will monitor material flows, respond to alarms and disruptions, clear blockages, perform basic technical interventions, and work closely with maintenance teams to maximize operational uptime and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities;
As a Flow Controller, you will be responsible for ensuring the continuous and efficient operation of automated material handling systems. Your duties will include:
- Monitoring automated warehouse and conveyor systems.
- Identifying and responding to system alarms, faults, warnings, and operational disruptions.
- Clearing conveyor and system blockages safely and efficiently.
- Supporting the smooth flow of products throughout the distribution center.
- Performing basic technical tasks such as sensor replacement, filter changes, and other low-risk maintenance activities.
- Replenishing operational consumables such as labels, cartons, and packaging materials.
- Collaborating with maintenance technicians, engineers, and control room operators.
- Providing real-time feedback regarding system performance and operational issues.
- Supporting continuous improvement initiatives to optimize system availability.
- Maintaining accurate records of incidents, faults, and corrective actions.
- Following all safety procedures, including Lock-Out Tag-Out (LOTO) requirements.
- Ensuring a clean, safe, and organized working environment at all times.
Requirements;
- MBO level education or equivalent technical qualification.
- Affinity with mechanical, electrical, or industrial systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Comfortable working in a shift-based environment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Physically capable of working in an industrial environment.
Preferred Qualifications;
- Experience in logistics, warehousing, automation, or industrial operations.
- Knowledge of conveyor systems, material handling equipment, or automated warehouse systems.
- Experience working with SCADA, PLC-controlled equipment, or automated production environments.
- Forklift certification is considered an advantage.
