The job
You will join us as a Teacher of Dutch Language and Acquisition in a part-time or full-time position (0.6–1.0 FTE), starting in the new school year. In this role, you will help create an inspiring and supportive learning environment where students are encouraged to grow, thrive, and achieve success.
As a Dutch Language and Acquisition teacher, you will deliver engaging and meaningful lessons that support students in developing their Dutch language proficiency across listening, speaking, reading, and writing. You will create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages communication, confidence, and cultural understanding. Working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider school community, you will support each student in developing their language skills and reaching their full potential, contributing to a dynamic setting where students are encouraged to explore, practise, and succeed.
What can you expect from us?
- A temporary appointment starting from August 2026;
- Salary grading takes place in scale LB (min. € 3.622,- max € 5.520,-) regarding collective agreement for secondary education (CAO VO);

This is what we ask of you
- Experience of teaching Dutch Language Acquisition Acquisition (Dutch as second language or NT2) to students (11 to 18 years);
- You have a relevant degree, are eligible to work in the EU and you have a DUO recognized teaching qualification;
- An understanding and knowledge of different cultural backgrounds;
- A collaborative attitude and the ability to work effectively within a team;
- Willingness to work in both the Arts departments and the Design Department;
- Ability to use differentiation effectively in class to support a wide range of student abilities;
- Skill in using differentiation effectively to support students with varying abilities in the classroom.
