As SMART Photonics continues its transition towards a mature semiconductor foundry, the New Product Introduction (NPI) team plays a critical role in bridging development, process integration and manufacturing. NPI ensures that new technologies, customer requirements and process improvements are successfully introduced into our production environment while maintaining focus on manufacturability, quality and operational excellence.
The Role
The NPI team sits at the intersection of development, process integration, and manufacturing, playing a critical role in translating innovation into stable, manufacturable processes.
As SMART Photonics continues to scale, the NPI team is entering a phase where clarity, prioritization and cross-functional alignment become increasingly important.

What you will do
Lead and support a multidisciplinary team of NPI engineers and technical specialists. (12fte), fostering owenership and collaboration
Create a productive and inclusive working environment that enables different working and communication styles to succeed.
Drive execution of NPI programs and projects from planning through industrialization, ensuring clarity in scope, timing and deliverables.
Ensure effective prioritization in a very demanding and new technology environment secure, resource allocation and projects planning.
Translate business and operational objectives into clear team priorities.
Represent the NPI team in cross-functional discussions and management reviews.
Safeguard the team's focus by balancing competing organizational priorities and operational demands.
Partner closely with senior technical experts within the team to ensure strong technical decision-making.
Support SMART Photonics' transition towards a mature and scalable semiconductor foundry.
Contribute to building robust, repeatable and manufacturable processes that support future growth.
