As Food & Beverage Manager, you have full operational, financial, and qualitative responsibility for the entire Food & Beverage department. Working closely with the Kitchen Brigade and the Meeting & Events team, you play an essential role within the Hotel Management Team and contribute directly to the strategic and commercial success of the hotel.
Your responsibilities cover seven meeting salons and three boardrooms (a total of 900 m² of meeting and event space), LEO’s International Flavours lounge, bar and restaurant, in-room dining, and Leonardo’s signature breakfast concept. You lead a team of approximately 30–40 colleagues and report directly to the General Manager.
Together with the Executive Chef, you continuously develop and implement innovative concepts that elevate the Food & Beverage experience at Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade. As a visible, approachable, and hands-on leader, you know when to be present during key operational moments while maintaining strong oversight of planning, administration, and deadlines.
You create a positive, motivating, and performance-driven working environment. Across all outlets, you stimulate growth, development, and consistent delivery of high-quality service. While actively supporting daily operations, you maintain a strong focus on the professional development of your team members.
We are looking for a candidate with proven experience, excellent planning and organisational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. A genuine passion for food and beverage, creativity, and the ability to inspire and engage the team are essential.
In this dynamic role, you take the lead in coordinating major events, driving the department’s commercial performance, and identifying opportunities to optimise revenue. While every day brings new challenges, your commitment to quality, guest satisfaction, and warm hospitality remains constant. Through your role within the Management Team, you make a meaningful contribution to the overall success and reputation of the hotel.
Leonardo Royal Hotel Den Haag Promenade
The city of The Hague offers a unique combination of natural tranquility and international energy. As the only major city in the Netherlands with direct access to a North Sea beach, it provides a relaxed coastal atmosphere while also serving as the country’s political center. Iconic landmarks such as the Binnenhof, the Ridderzaal, the Mauritshuis, and Noordeinde Palace are all within easy reach.
Thanks to its ideal location between Scheveningen Beach and the city center, both just a short tram ride away, the Leonardo Royal Hotel The Hague Promenade is a perfect base for exploring the city. Its proximity to major roads such as the A4 and A12 and to the World Forum convention center makes it a popular choice for both leisure and business travelers.
The hotel offers extensive facilities, including a modern health club & spa, the international restaurant LEO’S, and flexible meeting rooms suitable for a wide range of conferences and events. Nearby attractions such as Madurodam and the Peace Palace are within walking distance, while theatres like the AFAS Circustheater are also close by.
