As a Junior Business Controller, you support the Finance Business Partnering within Hallmark. You help translate business strategy into financial plans for your assigned areas and work closely with managers to support decision-making. You assist in providing analyses, preparing business cases, and identifying opportunities to improve financial processes. Through your work, you contribute to delivering accurate insights and supporting the performance of the business.

In this position, your goal is to support the business financially. Your main tasks and responsibilities are:

Supporting stakeholders in thorough analysis and reporting of business results;

Making recommendations to improve business results in the future;

First point of contact for your business area;

Supporting the planning & control cycle for your business area: including month-end closing, forecast and budget of your business area;

Supporting and advisory role in internal and external audits;

Participation in various project groups as a Business Partner;

Cooperation with the Accounting team in the UK.

The location of this position is Capelle aan den IJssel (NL) and you report to the UK based European Finance Business partner.

A completed HBO/bachelor's degree preferably in the direction of (business) economics or accountancy;

About 2 years of work experience in a financial role and ready for the next step in your career;

Tech and data savvy and preferably experience with PowerBI;

Experience in Retail/FMCG/Ecommerce is desirable;

Being able to deal with an organization that is on the move;
-
Firm and convincing personality;
-
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office, especially Excel;
-
Excellent command of the Dutch and English language in word and writing;

You are available full-time.
