As a freelance/ZZP therapeutic massage therapist at Rebalance, you’ll provide treatments that are both effective and restorative. We take time to listen, assess what each client needs, and adapt our techniques to offer real support. Whether someone comes in with chronic tension, sports-related issues, or simply needs space to reconnect with their body, we approach each session with clarity, care, and intention.
Our goal is to help clients feel better physically and mentally by working with precision and presence.
Job Description:
We are seeking a Therapeutic Massage Therapist to join our team. These are the services we offer:
- Structural & Performance: Deep Tissue, Sports Massage, Myofascial Release, and Fascia Manipulation.
- Systemic & Restorative: Lymphatic Drainage, Lomi Lomi, Pregnancy, and Therapeutic Relaxation.
Responsibilities:
- Must be comfortable to have conversations with clients for before and after care from the massage. Important to develop strong relationships to build your clientele.
- Perform various massage techniques tailored to individual client needs. Important to not follow the same routine for every massage.
- Provide comprehensive care with a deep understanding of anatomy and holistic practices.
- Provide personalized care and guidance before and after treatments.
- Arrive on time and be ready before each appointment.
- Write post treatment client reports.
- Create a serene and welcoming environment.
- Take care of your own cleanup: laundry, dishwasher, treatment room floor.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.
Qualifications:
- Trained massage therapist with a focus on holistic practices.
- Strong knowledge of human anatomy and the science of touch.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to personalized client care and ongoing professional development.
- Living close to Amsterdam.
- Set up as a Freelancer (ZZP) with KVK number

We recognize and value the range of expertise within the field of massage therapy. That’s why we work with a tiered system that reflects both experience and skill.
Pro Massage Therapist
Starting rate is €29.75 exc. BTW per hour. After 1-3 months, your performance is reviewed to increase to €31.85 exc. BTW per hour. After one year your rate can increase further.
Pro Therapists are well-trained, grounded professionals with a solid understanding of anatomy and effective massage techniques. They offer consistent, thoughtful treatments tailored to individual needs, helping clients release tension and restore balance.
Elite Massage Therapist
Starting rate is €35.80 exc. BTW per hour. After 1-3 months, your performance is reviewed to increase to €38.63 exc. BTW per hour. After one year your rate can increase further.
Elite Therapists have several years of hands-on experience and bring more depth to their sessions. They work with greater precision, adaptability, and body-reading skills. Their treatments go beyond relaxation, often addressing deeper tension patterns or injury-related concerns with confidence and care.
Master Massage Therapist
Starting rate is €45.22 exc. BTW per hour. After 1-3 months, your performance is reviewed to increase to €48.79 exc. BTW per hour. After one year your rate can increase further.
Master Therapists are the most advanced level in our team. They bring extensive clinical or specialized experience, a refined touch, and an intuitive understanding of the body-mind connection. Their sessions are often sought out for complex issues, long-term patterns, or deeply transformative work. Master Therapists combine deep anatomical insight with presence, clarity, and exceptional hands-on skill.
You’re someone who:
- Grounded in anatomy and body mechanics, with strong hands-on expertise
- Able to adapt your treatment based on the client’s needs and responses
- Intuitive, precise, and respectful in your approach
- Confident working with tension, stress, and injury-related complaints
- Ready to offer treatments that are both effective and meaningful
