You will lead Enterprise Automation, the unit responsible for the automation and operation of Haskoning’s enterprise business applications. The portfolio supports enabling processes across Finance, Operational Excellence and Risk Management, Human Resources, Brand, Marketing & Communication and DWS. You are accountable for a reliable and secure application landscape, clear portfolio and product ownership, value-driven roadmaps, application lifecycle management and continuous business-process improvement through enterprise platforms, integrations, low-code and workflow automation. You provide people leadership to the internal team and operational direction to the outsourced Application Support Team, while ensuring that major programmes such as Oracle Fusion transition into a sustainable run model.
- Lead, coach and develop the Enterprise Automation team, set clear objectives and accountabilities, manage performance and capacity, and create an inclusive environment in which portfolio, product and application specialists work effectively together.
- Lead the Enterprise Automation unit and translate Enterprise IT & Services strategy into portfolio priorities, capacity plans, budgets, measurable outcomes and clear accountability for portfolio owners, product owners, product managers and application specialists.
- Own the enterprise business application portfolio and lifecycle, including ERP and finance, HR, CRM, corporate communication, reporting, workflow, low-code and automation platforms; ensuring roadmap and execution alignment with business owners, architecture, security, data, IT strategy and regulatory requirements.
- Govern demand-to-delivery for application changes and automation, including business cases, prioritisation, solution direction, delivery oversight, testing, release readiness, adoption and benefits realisation.
- Oversee operational application support delivered by internal specialists, suppliers and the TCS Application Support Team; steer performance, incidents, problems, changes, releases, technical debt, continuity, controls and improvement.
- Lead implementation, transition and operational readiness of strategic enterprise platforms by establishing ownership, support layers, monitoring, testing, integration operations, knowledge transfer and supplier interfaces before handover to run.

- Act as accountable manager for the Enterprise Automation portfolio, team performance, resource allocation and operating budget within the mandate delegated by the Director Enterprise IT & Services.
- Approve priorities and capacity allocation across run, change and transformation work, and escalate material conflicts, risks, control gaps or investment decisions to the Director Enterprise IT & Services and relevant business owners.

As our new Manager Enterprise Automation, you will become part of the corporate group Digital & Workplace Solutions (DWS) in the Netherlands. DWS provides services to the internal organisation, enabling colleagues to serve their clients in the best possible way.
DWS is structured across Enterprise IT & Services, Real Estate & Facility, and Digital & AI, with a separate Information Security team. Enterprise Automation is positioned within Enterprise IT & Services and manages applications supporting Haskoning’s enabling processes. The unit combines internal portfolio, product and application expertise with outsourced application support. Its scope is distinct from ED&C Applications, which manages specialist engineering, design and consultancy software, and from IT Operations & Service Management, which manages core infrastructure, workplace and IT service management capabilities.
You are an experienced enterprise applications leader who combines people leadership, portfolio governance and business partnering with sufficient technical depth to challenge solution, integration, support and lifecycle decisions. You create clarity between business and IT ownership, make evidence-based priorities and remain accountable for both transformation and stable operations. You can lead in a restructuring context and build a disciplined, value-oriented application management culture.
Must-have requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, with an obtained diploma, in Information Technology, Information Management, Business Information Systems, Engineering, Business Administration with a substantial technology component, or a closely related field.
- Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in enterprise applications, business-process automation, ERP/application management or technology-enabled business transformation, including demonstrable leadership of multidisciplinary teams, portfolios or major delivery activities. The candidate must have held clear responsibility for priorities, capacity, stakeholders and delivery outcomes;
- Demonstrable responsibility for a portfolio of business-critical enterprise applications supporting multiple enabling processes, such as Finance, HR, operational excellence, risk and compliance, project or resource management, corporate communication, workflow or low-code automation.
- Demonstrable leadership responsibility in at least one significant enterprise-platform implementation, transformation or transition to operations.
- Proven experience governing internal or outsourced application support, including service performance, escalation management, change and release control, improvement planning and operational acceptance of new or changed services.
- Sufficient knowledge of enterprise application architecture, integrations, SaaS operating models, identity and access, controls, monitoring and data flows to evaluate risks, challenge proposals and make accountable management decisions in cooperation with specialist architects and engineers.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills in English, with demonstrated ability to align senior business and process owners, architects, security, data, finance, audit, project teams and suppliers, and to make transparent priority, risk and investment decisions in an international organisation.
- Experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud, Oracle Integration Cloud in a heterogeneous enterprise landscape.
- Relevant professional certifications, particularly in one or more of the following areas: (People) Leadership; Oracle Fusion Cloud; program, project, product or portfolio management; IT (operational) governance and supplier management.
