Celestia Satellite Test & Simulation BV (C-STS) provides innovative high‐tech solutions to the international space
community to support spacecraft development, Assembly Integration and Test (AIT) as well as post launch and
operational services. C-STS operates from Leiden, The Netherlands.

Our core activities include the design, development and support of high-complexity electronics-based systems. These
include products for Satellite Simulation & Test (Electrical Ground Support Equipment), TTC & TM/TC Systems, Modems

Who are we looking for:
Due to our company’s continued growth, we are looking for an Assembly Technician to strengthen our existing team who
are responsible for the assembly and integration of our products.
What will be your challenges:
- Assembly of cables and wiring harnesses, including stripping, crimping, soldering, labelling and
continuity/isolation verification
- Manual soldering and rework of printed circuit boards (PCBs), including through-hole (THT) and surface-mount
(SMD) components
- Inspection of solder joints in accordance with applicable IPC workmanship standards
- Mechanical and electrical integration of subassemblies into enclosures and 19” enclosures/racks
- Reading and interpreting technical drawings, wiring diagrams, assembly instructions, and bill of materials (BOMs)
- Ensuring compliance with internal quality procedures and ESD regulations
What we ask from you:
- MBO Level 3/4 education in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field, or demonstrable
equivalent experience
- Proven hands-on experience with cable assembly and PCB soldering (THT and SMD)
- Familiarity with IPC standards is considered an advantage
- Understanding of ESD-safe working practices
- Ability to work accurately from technical documentation and follow controlled production processes
- Good command of Dutch and English (both oral and written)
- Proficiency in standard computer applications (e.g., MS Office)
- Strong attention to detail, quality-focused mindset, and structured working method
- Capable of working independently while contributing effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Proactive, hands-on attitude with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility
