About this vacancy

At TMC, we are looking for a Data Engineer who thrives on data, innovation, and building scalable solutions. In this role, you will help organizations in the technical sector maximize the value of their data, making a direct impact on digitalization and data-driven work. You will work in an environment where data plays an increasingly important role in improving processes, decision-making, and strategic growth. Your contribution will involve designing, building, and maintaining robust data infrastructures. ## **What will you do?** As a Data Engineer at TMC, you develop data solutions that are truly implemented. You work closely with Data Analysts, Process Specialists, and other technical experts. You will be responsible for: - Designing and building data pipelines and ETL processes to integrate data from various sources. - Optimizing data storage, data structures, and performance in cloud environments. - Ensuring data quality, security, and data governance. - Translating business needs into smart, scalable data solutions. - Identifying opportunities to automate and improve processes. - Advancing data platforms and exploring new technologies. You will join a passionate and close-knit team where knowledge-sharing, collaboration, and innovation are key. Of course, there is also room for fun.

What we expect from you

A completed bachelor’s or master’s degree in an IT or data-related field.
Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
Experience with modern cloud platforms (such as Azure, AWS, or GCP) and knowledge of data warehouse technologies.
Proven experience in setting up and maintaining ETL processes.
A valid driver's license (category B).
Excellent command of the Dutch language, both spoken and written.
