The Role | QHSE Technical Officer
Location: The Netherlands
In this multifaceted role, you will contribute across three core development domains: Quality Control, Environmental Management (EMS), and Health & Safety. Within Quality Control, you will support daily operations by performing physical inspections of incoming pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical goods, ensuring compliance with quality standards, and accurately recording results in the ERP system. As EMS lead, you will maintain and continuously improve the Environmental Management System, ensuring alignment with ISO 14001 and supporting audits and compliance activities. You will also contribute to the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS). In addition, you will support and strengthen Health & Safety practices across the organization. Across all areas, you will play a key role in ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 processes, contributing to audits, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
· Conduct thorough physical inspections of incoming pharmaceutical and non-pharmaceutical goods
· Take and manage reference and retention samples for IMRES-labelled and HM Healthcare products
· Review and process direct shipments in line with quality standards
· Request and verify analysis and sterilization certificates from international manufacturers
· Lead the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Environmental Management System (EMS)
· Support the electronic Quality Management System (eQMS)
· Promote and help ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards across the organization
Your Profile
· HBO-level working and thinking capability (Bachelor’s degree or equivalent)
· Availability of 40 hours per week
· Affinity with or knowledge of pharmaceuticals
· Strong digital skills, including MS Office and the ability to quickly adapt to new systems
· A collaborative team player with a proactive mindset
· Strong communication skills with fluency in Dutch and English
