DESCRIPTION

Amazon Ads is the digital advertising arm of Amazon and one of our fastest growing businesses. We operate at the intersection of commerce, entertainment and advertising, offering unique advertising products, enterprise ad tech and a rich array of unique creative, format and measurement solutions. We offer advertisers premium brand placements on our owned and operated properties, including Prime Video ads, Twitch, and a rich slate of retail media solutions.

As an Insights and Measurement Consultant, you will work as an individual contributor to accelerate our advertising business growth in the Benelux and Nordics regions. With Prime Video's launch in Netherlands and Sweden, you'll have a pivotal role in shaping the streaming TV and video landscape in the region. You will serve as a strategic advisor, implementing analytics solutions to drive business transformation. You will lead Ad measurement discussions, create actionable insights, and present clear recommendations to executive stakeholders.

Key job responsibilities

Leverage Amazon's proprietary data, third-party research, and ad measurement solutions to generate actionable insights
Own senior-level measurement and insights customer relationships, partnering across strategic learning objectives that influence business decision-making
Collaborate cross-functionally to influence sales and marketing initiatives across multiple business functions and geographies
Advocate for data-driven decision-making and guide advertisers to implement recommended solutions

A day in the life
On a daily basis, the Insights and Measurement Lead performs hands-on data extraction and analysis using SQL and Python, leveraging Amazon measurement solutions to build insights and track success metrics for advertisers' businesses and industries. The role requires developing data-driven recommendations for executive client leadership and communicating those insights in a clear and compelling manner.

About the team
The Analytics & Insights (A&I) organization leverages Amazon's data to develop actionable insights for advertisers, enhancing marketers' decision-making and measurably improving their success both on and off Amazon.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, economics, computer science, data science, engineering, or other related field
Experience in advanced SQL & ability to write complex queries from scratch from multiple tables
Experience translating technical aspects of analysis and metrics into actionable insights for the advertiser and both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Experience in advertising measurement methodologies, including incrementality, marketing mix modeling, and media attribution.
Experience in customer segmentation, customer behavior analysis, data science modeling using Python/R.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Speak, write, and read fluently in Dutch
Experience with advertising publishers and marketing/creative agencies
Advanced degree (MBA, Master's) in Economics, Marketing, Statistics, Advertising, or Business; or equivalent Digital media planning experience
