GKN Fokker Aerospace has an urgent requirement to recruit a suitably qualified and able candidate to assist the existing ILS team Specialists in conducting MSG-3 analysis in support of the NH90 and other programs.
The successful candidate should be aware of ILS principles based on MIL-STD-1388-2B for LSA, utilizing the EAGLE LSAR relational database tool and understand the principles for development and ongoing continuous optimization of aircraft Maintenance Programs & planning in accordance with Air Transport Association (ATA) Maintenance Steering Group 3 (MSG) 3 process.
Background
Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) is an essential tool for efficient and cost effective management of complex programs throughout the product life-cycle from inception (concept) through to end of life cycle (disposal).
The ILS service team provides ongoing support for the NHI industries NH90 Tactical Transport and Naval Frigate (TTH & NFH) helicopter fleets worldwide. In support of these fleets, a quality LSA database is the foundation on which an effective ILS service rests by providing the essential configuration and source data reference that the various ILS disciplines use in support of the various support activities. The process of inputting data, updating records and developing the NH90 LSA Record (LSAR) is continuous from cradle to grave to ensure the data within always aligns to the helicopter configurations, maintaining a robust LSAR for the continued support of existing versions & variants and to support the development of future design iterations.
GKN Fokker Aerospace uses ILS & Logistic Support Analysis (LSA) processes involving MSG-3 for continuous evaluation, analysis and evolution (optimization) of various maintenance programs to ensure that maintenance remains fit-for-purpose (Applicable & Effective) throughout the product in-service life.
Specifically, the ILS service provides ongoing support for the NHI industries NH90 Tactical Transport and Naval Frigate (TTH & NFH) helicopter fleets worldwide. In support of these fleets, a quality up-to-date LSA database is the foundation on which an effective ILS service rests by providing the essential configuration and source data reference that the various ILS disciplines, including Maintenance Analysts use in support of the MSG-3 based initial Maintenance development and continuous optimization activities.
