The Exact architecture is spread out over multiple datacenters and approximately 15 offices across the world. We are busy innovating and automating our infrastructure with automation and self-service as well as being the internal IAAS/PAAS provider. We are implementing and maintaining multiple datacenter security initiatives to harden the security of network and server areas.
What will you be doing? As a Windows engineer you are focused on continuously improving all aspects of our IT environment by using your analytical and technical skills. Together with the team you are responsible for developing, implementing and maintaining the Exact IT infrastructure. You do this by maximizing the uptime and performance of our infrastructure services delivered to our internal clients across the globe. Furthermore, in this role you will:

Managing and optimizing Windows Server environments

Working with Active Directory (AD), DNS, DHCP and Group Policies

Monitoring, troubleshooting, and improving system performance and uptime

Automating repetitive tasks using tools like PowerShell
-
Working with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware)
-
Collaborating with internal teams and external vendors
-
Creating and maintaining documentation and procedures
A match is made when you are that candidate with a bachelor degree in Information Technology and at least 5-8 years of relevant experience within an international environment. To ensure we have an awesome match, you:
5+ years of experience as a Windows / Infrastructure Engineer
Strong knowledge of:

Windows Server

Experience with PowerShell scripting (or similar)

Experience working in complex IT environments

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

Experience with Azure or other cloud platforms

Knowledge of automation tools such as Terraform or Ansible

Basic knowledge of IT security (MFA, hardening, monitoring)

Experience with container technologies (Docker / Kubernetes)

Networking knowledge (firewalls, VPN, load balancing)

Experience with Intune or modern workplace solutions
