Tiro Partners are hiring for an emerging start-up, operating in the Data Privacy space which is looking to add an experience Java Developer to their team. We are seeking a skilled Java Developer to join their dynamic team and contribute to the team development and contribute to the growth of the business. We are looking for a professional with prior experience working in a start-up or that would enjoy this sort of business.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, test, and maintain high-performance and scalable Java applications.
You collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
You can write clean and efficient code, ensuring adherence to best practices and coding standards and you have experience running code and test reviews.
Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize applications to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
You can collaborate with front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements using server-side logic.
Stay updated with the latest Java technologies and industry trends to drive continuous improvement.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure knowledge sharing within the team.
Contribute to the entire software development lifecycle, from concept to delivery.

Requirements:

You bring proven experience as a Java Developer with a strong background of Java programming language.
Solid understanding of object-oriented programming principles and design patterns.
Experience with frameworks such as Spring and Hibernate.
Proficient in database management (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle).
Having familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and their integration with Java applications will be advantageous for this position.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Nice to have:

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
Familiarity with microservices architecture.
Knowledge of RESTful APIs and web services.
Understanding of agile development methodologies.
