“The Enterprise Architect is accountable for shaping and governing the Bugaboo Group's enterprise technology landscape, driving application rationalization, defining the target architecture across Bugaboo, Joolz, and Artipoppe, and ensuring scalable, secure, and integrated digital capabilities. The role also drives the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI, by establishing architecture principles, governance frameworks, and roadmaps that support business innovation, operational excellence, and future growth.”
Key Responsibilities
1. Enterprise Application Architecture
Lead architecture governance and review processes to ensure technology investments align with enterprise standards and strategic objectives.
Define and maintain architecture standards across ERP, PLM, CRM, eCommerce, HR, Manufacturing, and other enterprise platforms.
Manage the enterprise application portfolio and technology lifecycle across the Bugaboo Group.
Develop and maintain application and technology roadmaps aligned with business strategy.
Govern solution design and architecture decisions across the enterprise.
2. Integration Architecture
Own the integration architecture and Boomi platform strategy.
Define API, integration, and interoperability standards.
Establish integration governance, best practices, and reusable patterns.
Ensure scalable, secure, and reliable connectivity across enterprise applications.
3. Enterprise Information & Data Architecture
Define and maintain the enterprise information architecture, ensuring consistent use of business data across systems, processes, and brands.
Establish principles and standards for data ownership, master data, information governance, and system-of-record management.
Partner with the Data team to ensure enterprise information architecture supports analytics, reporting, AI, and data platform initiatives.
Ensure key business information is consistently defined, managed, and exchanged across the enterprise application landscape.
Promote information standards and architecture practices that support business scalability, digital transformation, and future AI capabilities.
4. AI Architecture & Adoption
Act as the architectural lead connecting business, data, and technology teams, as well as external partners, to enable the effective adoption of AI capabilities across the organization
- Define and maintain enterprise AI architecture principles and standards. (Own)
Develop and maintain the enterprise AI roadmap aligned with business priorities. (Own)
Ensure AI solutions securely integrate with enterprise applications, platforms, and business data. (Own)
Define and govern architecture patterns for embedding AI into core business processes, including automation, decision support, and intelligent workflow capabilities. (Own)
Evaluate AI platforms, technologies, and vendors, and provide architectural guidance for adoption decisions. (Facilitate)
Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to identify, assess, and prioritize AI use cases. (Facilitate)
Support the establishment of AI governance, security, compliance, and responsible AI practices. (Facilitate)
5. Team Leadership
Lead and develop a team of architecture and integration professionals, fostering collaboration, technical excellence, and continuous improvement.
Provide direction, coaching, and mentorship to team members, supporting their professional growth and capability development.
Ensure alignment of team priorities and delivery activities with enterprise architecture standards, technology roadmaps, and business objectives.
Promote knowledge sharing, architectural best practices, and effective collaboration across IT, Digital, Data, and business teams.
Required Profile
Experience developing enterprise technology roadmaps and architecture governance frameworks
Strong understanding of enterprise application landscapes, including ERP, PLM, CRM, eCommerce, HR, Manufacturing, and other business-critical platforms.
Experience operating in complex, multi-brand and/or multi-entity organizations.
Solid understanding of enterprise integration architectures, including APIs, middleware, event-driven architectures, and integration platforms such as Boomi.
Knowledge of enterprise information architecture, data flows, and system interoperability principles.
Demonstrated ability to influence technology decisions across business functions without direct authority
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with executive leadership, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
Experience evaluating emerging technologies and driving technology innovation within an enterprise environment.
Understanding of AI, Generative AI, intelligent automation, and their potential application within business processes and enterprise systems.
Passion for emerging technologies, particularly AI, and a strong interest in exploring how they can create business value.
Preferred Profile
Experience defining AI adoption strategies, governance frameworks, or enterprise AI roadmaps.
Familiarity with AI platforms and services.
Experience assessing and prioritizing AI use cases in collaboration with business and technology stakeholders.
TOGAF or equivalent Enterprise Architecture certification.
- Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, or multi-brand organizations with complex enterprise application ecosystems.
