Ben jij goed in overzicht houden, mensen aansturen én zorgen dat alles lekker loopt? Dan hebben we misschien een plekje voor je.
Bij PANCAKES Amsterdam draait het natuurlijk om goede pannenkoeken, maar minstens zo veel om de mensen die ze bakken, serveren en opeten. Als Assistent Manager zorg jij samen met de Manager dat jouw locatie staat als een huis. Een gezellig huis. Met pannenkoeken.
Je houdt overzicht op drukke dagen, zorgt dat het team weet wat er moet gebeuren en bewaakt onze kwaliteit en gastvrijheid. En als er ergens iets misloopt? Dan ben jij degene die denkt: komt goed, fixen we.
WAT GA JE DOEN?
- Je stuurt het team aan en zorgt voor een slimme werkverdeling
- Je houdt de service en gastvrijheid op niveau
- Je opent en sluit de locatie zelfstandig
- Je houdt overzicht op kassa, transacties, dagomzet en fooi
- Je helpt met roosters en schakelt bij gaten of ziekmeldingen
- Je begeleidt en traint nieuwe collega’s
- Je houdt bestellingen en voorraden in de gaten
- Je zorgt dat HACCP, hygiëne en allergenenprocedures worden gevolgd
- Je bewaakt onze huisregels en spreekt collega’s aan waar nodig
- Je denkt mee over hoe we dingen nóg slimmer en beter kunnen doen
JIJ BENT...
✔ Ervaren in de horeca en hebt al leidinggevende ervaring
✔ Minimaal 21 jaar
✔ Beschikbaar voor 32 tot 36 uur per week
✔ Minimaal één weekenddag beschikbaar
✔ Ook inzetbaar op feestdagen
✔ Iemand die verantwoordelijkheid pakt, maar zichzelf niet té serieus neemt
En ook lekker: bij ons ben je uiterlijk om 21:00 klaar.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR AN ASSISTANT MANAGER
Are you good at keeping an overview, leading a team and making sure everything runs smoothly? Then we might have a spot for you.
At PANCAKES Amsterdam, it’s obviously about great pancakes, but just as much about the people who make, serve and eat them. As Assistant Manager, you’ll work together with the Manager to make sure your location runs like a house. A very fun house. With pancakes.
You keep your cool on busy days, make sure everyone knows what needs to be done and keep our quality and hospitality up to standard. And when something doesn’t quite go according to plan? You’re the one who thinks: we’ve got this, we’ll fix it.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
- Lead the team and make sure the work is divided efficiently
- Keep our service and hospitality up to standard
- Open and close the location independently
- Keep track of the register, transactions, daily revenue and tips
- Help with scheduling and step in when there are gaps or sick calls
- Train and guide new team members
- Keep an eye on orders and stock
- Make sure HACCP, hygiene and allergen procedures are followed
- Keep our house rules in check and speak up when needed
- Think along about how we can do things even smarter and better
YOU ARE...
✔ Experienced in hospitality and already have some leadership experience
✔ At least 21 years old
✔ Available for 32 to 36 hours a week
✔ Available at least one weekend day
✔ Available on public holidays
✔ Someone who takes responsibility, but doesn’t take themselves too seriously
And another nice bonus: you’ll be finished by 9 PM at the latest.
